TEACHER APPLICATION PROCESS

A letter of application
A current resume
Credentials, or written references, and transcripts
Evidence of teaching licensure
Send all items in one envelope to Mr. Wes Golden, Human Resources Department, Clinton Community School District, 1401 12th Ave. N., Clinton, Iowa 52732. Completed files (items 1 - 5) will be retained for two years. Incomplete files will be discarded.
The Screening Process
Applicants with complete files will be screened according to established criteria for each position. Candidates will be contacted for interviews.
Interviews generally consist of:
Interview with the principal
Interview with a teacher team
Tour of the school facility
Selected candidate will interview with the Human Resources Director
The selected candidate will be offered the position and their file will be presented to the Board of Education for approval at the next regularly scheduled meeting.
