Dear Parents, Caregivers, and Community Members,

The Clinton Community School District is committed to ensuring the safety of our students, staff, and families while maintaining our educational goals. In light of the approaching Winter months, like last school year,  we will be utilizing a virtual learning platform when severe weather is imminent; this will allow us to continue instructional activities safely from home.

In the event of a virtual learning day due to severe weather, you will receive notification the day before, ensuring time for preparation. Students will bring their Chromebooks and necessary materials home the day prior to the anticipated weather event. Schools will provide additional information and expectations to ensure that all students are prepared for virtual learning and understand the requirements for participation.

Please note that, per state guidelines, our district is permitted to use up to five virtual learning days per year due to severe weather. We will keep you informed of any changes or additional information as it becomes available.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership in our efforts to provide uninterrupted learning opportunities for our students.

Sincerely,

Dr. Wes Golden
Superintendent
Clinton Community School District
