RIVER KINGS & QUEENS STATE TRACK MEET UPDATE Competing today for the Kings: Jay Dodd in long jump and our 4x200m Team of Ceion Currin, Maddux Cooley, Ronnie Abbott-Lutton, and Jayden Krogmann. For the Queens: Aubrey Fergurson in shot put; 1600mSMR Team of Dorianna Hill, Camila Hunter, Molly Steiner, and Carryn Sattler; Sescie Haan in 400m hurdles; and the 4x400m Team in Prelims of Molly Steiner, Carryn Sattler, Alli Haskell, and Sescie Haan. Results so far: Ferguson placed 12th in shot put. Dodd placed 20th in long jump. Our 1600mSMR Team placed 13th. Go Kings and Queens!!!

End of the school year is coming up quickly. Check the lost and found this week for any items you may have misplaced. Larger items outside the library and smaller items in the library. Join Pride Club for their upcoming game & karaoke night on Thursday, May 22nd. This will take place in rooms A115 & A116 right after school until 6 pm. There will be Mario Kart, Karaoke, board games and more. Bring your friends and join the fun before the end of the school year! Seniors: You need to get ALL your fees paid off for Graduation. Get any library books or headphones returned. Clean up your computers/cases so once you are done with your classes you can get them returned to the library. After-School Tutoring is being offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45 - 4:45 in the New Library! There is no cost. We have staff in most of the core classes available! Please ask a CHS teacher or administrator if you would like to attend! Time is running out to get grades up. Let our Tutors help you. Last night, the River Queens soccer team hosted the DeWitt Sabers in their final match of the regular season. The Queens kept it close early in the match, but DeWitt pulled away in the second half recording a 6-0 win. Working hard in goal was Senior Captain Livia Watters who recorded 14 saves. The Queens finish the regular season with a 2-13-1 record. Post-season play begins this Friday as the Queens travel to Mt. Vernon High School to take on the Mustangs in the first round of regional action. Kickoff is slated for 7:00pm at Mt. Vernon HS. Thank you to our family and friends who turned out in a big way last night to cheer on the Queens, your support means so much!!! The River King soccer team travelled to Burlington on Monday night for the first round of 3A substate. The King's found themselves behind to an early goal and struggled to get much momentum on offense over the first half. The boys bounced back with a purpose in the second half, fighting to continue their season. Josh Liles, Adis Ravmonovsky, Logan Dondiego, and Baltazar Cedillo all looked dangerous and just couldn't find that last touch to put the ball in the net. BJ Cooley also turned in a solid performance in goal, tallying 16 saves and earning the team's Man of the Match award in his final game. The Kings took a 5-0 loss on the night, bringing their season to a close. Joke of the day What do you call a cow that can't make milk? …A milk dud.
