Would you like to speak a universal language without speaking? Let the beat flow and feet keep up with the rhythm of Merengue. Tomorrow, Mrs. Mullaley and some CMS Spanish students will be teaching how to dance Merengue Latino dance during RTI. No experience is necessary but it is limited to 18 participants. The sign-up sheet will be located on the bulletin board outside the LRC. Students with no violations, tardies, and missing assignments will be able to participate.

Reminder that Picture Retake Day is this Friday, October 13th. Pictures are the only way to receive a school ID necessary for the bus and game entries.  If you did not get your picture in September you will be asked to do so this week. Information for ordering is on the website and live feed.  Please do not wear green if you are getting your picture taken.

Leo's Club is hosting the Annual Treats 4 Troops campaign to support our troops by sending them treats from home. Starting Monday, October 16th, students can begin bringing in bags of candy to their 1st hour class. Candy should be brought in unopened bags or unwrapped in ziploc bags. The 1st hour class who brings in the most candy by weight will be awarded with a donut party provided by Leo's Club. Each classroom will be provided with a box for candy. 

Another tough battle. 7th graders fall 20-35 against Central DeWitt. Yavin Bell led the team with 3 touchdowns including a 85 yard kickoff return. King Gray had a huge 1st quarter reception of 53 yards which led to a Yavin Bell rushing touchdown. Bell led the defense with 12 tackles.
