Treats for Troops is still going strong. Keep bringing in those treats! You never know, the grade level with the most candy brought in might also win a prize!
Our ELL program would like to welcome you to our Day of The Dead coloring contest. The contest will end on November 1st. Students will vote for the best artwork at each grade level. The winners will be announced on November 6th and be given a surprise prize.
This week is the annual Red Ribbon Week. Our second drug fact for Red Ribbon Week is that one person dies from prescription drug overdose every 19 minutes. Tomorrow is “Teachers dress like students, students dress like teachers” to “Teach your mind to be drug free”.
The next SOFTBALL CLUB will meet on Friday, October 27th after school until 5pm. If you have not attended yet YOU STILL CAN! Send Miss Natalie an email or stop in the back office.
Battle of the Books Sign ups are live! Check the CMS Library Classroom page for links. You can sign up as a team if you have one already or as a single and Mrs. Smithson will put you into a team. There will be a short informational meeting next week before school. Listen to announcements for more information.
