Today’s Announcements:
7th grade is hosting a Dodgeball Tournament Fundraiser! Woo-hoo! The tournament will be held December 15th during RtI and after school. $3 per person minimum of 5 up to 10 people per team. Teams must include both boys and girls. Sign up today during lunch with Mrs. Ayers and Mr. Gabel.
The Middle School Color Guard is holding a winter sign-up for anyone interested in joining the guard. If that's you, the meeting will be Wednesday December 6th in the gym when the doors open.
On Thursday the 8th grade girls traveled to Pleasant Valley and got the victory 28-18. After having 7 days off the girls came ready to play and played together. The girls played great defense allowing the other team to only scoring 18 points. Leading scorers of the night were Alli H with 18 and Phoebe L following with 7. We also had some rebounding machines Kassidy E with 9 followed by Arra G with 7 and Maggie H with 5. Hustler of the game was Kassidy E. Keep up the amazing work Queens!
Congratulations to Ivy B, Sienna F, Haylee D, Chloe E, Jerzi H, Keira P, and Olivia P participated in the NEIBA Honor Band. Special shout out to Haylee D being selected as an alternate for the All Iowa 8th Grade Honor Band while we were at the NEIBA Honor Band this weekend. The All Iowa 8th Grade Honor Band is basically All State for MS Band, and she has a chance to play in the group! Really big Honor!
Tonight, 7th grade girls basketball takes to the court at Bettendorf, dismissal at 2:30, bus leaves at 2:45. Wrestling takes to the mat at Davenport North, dismissal at 2:30, bus leaves at 2:50. 8th girls basketball has practice at home. Best of luck athletes!
