This is a reminder of Eagle Heights' Conference and Thanksgiving Week Schedule:
We will be dismissing at 12:45 on Monday, November 25 and Tuesday, Nov. 26. Conferences will be held from 1 to 7 on Monday, and 1-6 on Tuesday. There will be no school Wednesday through Friday, Nov. 27 through Nov. 29, nor on Monday, Dec. 2. Classes will resume on Tuesday, Dec. 3.
Just a reminder that tomorrow, Tuesday, September 24, is picture day here at Eagle Heights! We cannot wait to see all of the students looking picture ready!
Attention Parents: Due to our Adventure Day being on Tuesday, October 1st, there has been a change in our dress up days for Homecoming Week. We will have Construction Day on Tuesday and Dress To Impress Day on Thursday. Please share with other Eagle Heights Parents!

Nate Herrig, head CHS football coach, accompanied BJ Cooley who recognized Mrs. Behr and Drew Steiner who recognized Mrs. Hilgendorf as a teacher who made a difference to them. These senior football team members shared their appreciation for these two amazing teachers at Eagle Heights this afternoon! What an awesome honor for our teachers.
Next Tuesday, September 24, is picture day! Picture packets will be coming home this week!
Don't worry about cooking dinner on Monday, September 30. Kick off homecoming week by joining Eagle Heights 3rd grade from 5:00 - 8:00 at Pizza Ranch that night! 10% of all sales for dine in and carry out will go to the 3rd grade enrichment fund! We hope to see you there!

All T-shirt orders are due no later than Tuesday, September 10. Make sure to get those in if you plan to order shirts!

Our first PTA meeting of the year will be Tuesday, September 10 from 3:00-4:00 in the library. There will be babysitting available for your school age children while parents attend.

Eagle Heights families, you are invited to join us at our first BINGO night of the year on Friday, September 13! Doors open at 5:30 and our first game will begin at 6:00. This one will be sponsored by your Eagle Heights 2nd Grade! There will be baked good, light snacks and drinks available for purchase.

Tomorrow is the first day of our 2024-2025 school year!
School starts at 7:45. Students may be dropped off at their wing doors no earlier than 7:00. They should be at school before 7:30 if they plan to go to breakfast.
School is dismissed at 2:45 everyday except for Wednesdays (12:45 on Wednesdays).
Parents please remember to be patient and watch for others as you drop off and pick up your child! Let's be those amazing role models for all of our kids!

Hello Eagle Heights Parents! It is almost that time for students to be coming back to school! If you are wondering about who your child’s teacher will be, this will be a little different from years past. This year, on Thursday, August 15 around 2:00 your child’s teacher will be posted in your parent portal. The class lists will not be posted at the building like years past so Parent portal is going to be the place to go! A message will also be sent out from the school with links so that you can get signed up for our back to school day which will be Friday, August 23 from 10:00-6:00. Be sure to be watching for that link and check parent portal to find out who your child has as a teacher this year! We are looking forward to getting our school year off to a great start! If you have any questions please reach out to the Eagle Heights office!
Thank you to our amazing summer cleaning crew who have been working hard all summer to get Eagle Heights looking amazing! I was able to catch some of them hard at work today and the building looks amazing!
Some of our amazing Eagle Heights staff got to attend the Reading Conference in Cedar Rapids this week. They had an awesome experience and learned a lot!
Tomorrow, July 16, is the 2024 Bike Rodeo at Clinton Park by the Central Fire Station. There will be lots of fun activities for all families including a helmet giveaway! We hope you are able to stop down and check it out!
