  • River King JV golfers competed at Glynn's Creek against North Scott JV. Although the Kings lost 175-202, there were some positives. The four scores that counted today for the Kings were all freshmen... Carter Thorpe, Griffen Keefer, Dalton Kohl, and Maverick Hensel. Could this be a sign of things to come for the Kings in the future? Only time will tell. Thorpe was team medalist again with a 45, followed by Kohl and Keefer with 50s, and Hensel with a 57. Also playing for the Kings were Reagan Steenhard and Levi Fransen.

  • The Sophomore Queens Volleyball team dropped a hard 4-set loss to Bettendorf last night. The Varsity team left the entertainment on the court last night. The student section was loud and proud last night as our varsity team lost a 5-set heartbreaker to the #13 ranked Bulldogs. The Queens won sets 1 and 4 in extra points by a total of 4 points. The 5th set was exciting, but the Bulldogs pulled ahead late to claim the 15-11 victory. The Queens were led by Joselyn Petersen with 14 kills. Vanessa Hensel distributed 19 assists to her fellow Queen attackers and had 10 digs for a double-double. Mallory Byrns controlled the back row by digging up 13 attacks from the Bulldogs. The Queens don't step back on the floor for MAC play until next Tuesday, when they host Davenport West in Yourd Gym. Thank you Student Section for your support last night!

  • Your River Queen Swimmers had some very nice swims last night in their loss to Muscatine 55 to 87. Top performances by Schroeder winning the Varsity 100 Butterfly and Ewer winning the JV 50 Free. Several others had big time drops from last season's season bests. The Queens will be hosting their River Queen Invitational this Saturday. Races start at 9:00 AM. Go Queens!
