For Seniors considering Clinton Community College after high school, on Wednesday, November 20th, we have scheduled an opportunity for you to visit CCC. It is a fun opportunity to meet with the Admission teams, learn about financial aid and scholarship opportunities, and visit with student engagement. Calling all creatives: Come audition for the Clinton High School Speech Team! Speech helps strengthen your speaking and performance skills with friends and, most importantly, it's a lot of fun! Large group speech auditions will be held on Monday, Nov. 18th from 4-5 p.m. and Tuesday, Nov. 19th from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in room S154. Students should plan to stay the full hour to audition. Interested students only need to attend one audition session, and they don't need to have anything prepared. Just show up and have fun with us as we play theater games and read from script samples! The cross country banquet will be Today, Nov 14th from 6-8pm in the Commons. This will be a potluck style banquet, so please bring a dish to share and your table service.
After-School Tutoring is being offered every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:45 - 4:45 in the New Library! There is no cost. We have staff in most of the core classes available! Please ask a CHS teacher or administrator if you would like to attend! Don’t wait if you are behind in a class.
Attention, girls soccer players: If you are thinking about joining girls soccer, and would like to get in some extra touches, join us for OPEN GYM Today, Nov 14th at 6:00pm in the Wellness gym! Enter through the Wellness double doors at the Hall of Fame hallway. Please stop by room #103 to see Coach Feaster and get signed up for the girls soccer Google classroom and to be on the message!!
Attention -- boys basketball players: make sure you get your white card from the activities office BEFORE the first day of practice, which is Monday, November 18th. Remember, open gyms for boys basketball are Sunday at 5pm, and Monday and Thursday at 6:30pm.
Congratulations to the cast of Zombie Prom, the musical on being selected to perform this weekend at Iowa Thespian Festival at the University of Northern Iowa! This will be only the second time in the school's history that Clinton High has been selected to perform for over 1,200 high school actors and directors from across the state. Break-a-leg, cast and crew! We are so proud of you!
