DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Thursday April 10 2025

I Pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one Nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all.

  • The Royalty Rack will be open for those looking for something to wear to prom. Available times to come take a look will be tomorrow right after school and next Tuesday after school. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mrs. Leafgreen.

  • Do you have a talent you would like to share with your community? Sign up for the 2025 variety show! You can scan the QR codes around the school, or email Leilani Calvillo or Lillian Asay for the Google Form to sign up. Staff involvement is highly encouraged. Anyone from CHS is welcome to sign up. Come show off your talents and support the CHS Drama Department. Also have a chance to win People's Choice and win a prize!

  • The deadline to buy your yearbook is May 1st. Don't miss your chance to capture the moment! Order on jostens.com or infinite campus today!

  • Join us in the library for “Read a Latte” Wednesday April 16th from 7:40 am until Homeroom, and/or Monday April 28th right after school until 4:15 pm.

  • Last day of IASAP Testing this week. It is very important that you take these tests and try your best when taking them. The library will not have loaner chargers available during testing. So if you are low on power you will need to come get a loaner computer.

  • Juniors and Seniors: Make sure you are talking to your friends about going to Prom and getting signed-up for the dance.  If you have a friend who is online, at EAC, or graduated early let them know sign-up has started.

  • After-School Tutoring is being offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45 - 4:45 in the New Library!  There is no cost.  We have staff in most of the core classes available! Please ask a CHS teacher or administrator if you would like to attend! Great way to get grades up for Prom.

  • If you borrow something from the library don’t forget to return it.  Loaner computers, headphones, loaner chargers, or books. Items are checked out to you so if you don’t return them you will be charged. Reminder Loaner chargers are to be borrowed for ONE class period and then returned so others can borrow them. They also have late fees of $1 each day they are overdue.
