iJAG Has a BIG Announcement: Red vs. Black Food Drive Challenge! We are excited to announce the upcoming Red vs. Black Food Drive Challenge, taking place from January 5th through January 16th. This friendly competition invites all students from the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Red and Black Teams to participate while working together to support our local community.
Attention wrestlers - please make sure your gear gets turned into a coach. 7th grade to Mr. Schnee and 8th to Mr. Petersen. Also, a few wins were accidentally left off yesterday's announcement. The coaches would like to highlight Owen Lueders and Brayden Booth for capping off the River King's season with two huge wins. Overall the team registered 145 wins over the span of our 7-meet season. We're proud of you guys. Go Kings!
Thank you to EVERYONE who voted in the 8th Grade FCS Gingerbread House SHOWDOWN! We had 100+ votes, and the competition was INTENSE. With only cookies, icing, and candy (and a LOT of courage), our builders went head-to-head in a sugary battle of creativity. After the icing settled, our TOP TWO HOUSES are… HOUSE #5 and HOUSE #12!!! Huge shout-out to all our bakers, builders, and voters this was sweet chaos at its finest

iJAG Has a BIG Announcement: Red vs. Black Food Drive Challenge! We are excited to announce the upcoming Red vs. Black Food Drive Challenge, taking place from January 5th through January 16th. This friendly competition invites all students from the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Red and Black Teams to participate while working together to support our local community.
Monday night the River King wrestlers capped off their season with a strong night against DeWitt and Muscatine. Winners for the Kings were Aron Cowger, Kyler Guy, Chris Steward, Carson Richmond, Drako Chandler, Jeremiah Green, Tanner Haskell, Bryston Schroeder, Oliver Mussman, Camden Cook, Kallan Determan, Easton Clark, Keegan Price, Hanley Drury, Owen Lueders, Jaxen Darr and Tate Robinson. Hats off to all the King grapplers this year as they invested their time in effort into improving. Many of these wrestlers will continue to wrestle this winter to improve their skills. Coach Schneeberger and Coach Petersen are proud of you guys, keep getting better!

The 7th grade girls basketball team beat Davenport Walcott 36-16 last night. Very balanced scoring effort as four different girls scored 8 points a piece. The 7th grade girls improved to 5-2 on the season.
