It’s Game Day at CMS! Girls basketball takes to the court against Pleasant Valley. 7th grade is home at 4:15, 8th grade is away. Dismissal at 2:30, bus leaves at 2:45. Boys wrestling hits the mats against Davenport Central. Dismissal at 2:40, bus leaves at 2:55. Best of luck, athletes!

The 7th grade girls basketball team went to Davenport Smart last night and got a nice win. The queens did a nice job spreading the ball around, yesterday was the most assists they have had in a game so far this year. If you see Jazmyn Voss in the hallways today give her a high five for her big basket!

The River King wrestlers defended their home mat last night against Davenport Central and Bettendorf. The Kings total record was 36-20 on the night and they represented themselves well. Winners are the night were Aron Cowger, Oliver Mussman, Jeremiah Green, Jaxen Darr, Drako Chandler, Easton Clark, Keegan Price, Cooper Ludvigsen, Owen Lueders, Tanner Haskell, Braydon Johnson, Miles Zirkelbach, Ian Monaghan, Tony Hansen, Rashaad Carroll, Steven Barsema, Soren Bengston, Tate Robinson, Landen Harrison, Asher May and Camden Cook. The wrestlers and coaches would like to thank everyone for their support at the meet, and to staff members for their help running things smoothly. Let's go Kings!

The 7th grade girl's basketball team beat Davenport Williams 52-17 yesterday. A nice well-rounded team won against an aggressive Davenport WIlliams team. The Queens won the second game 28-8. Thirteen different girls scored for the River Queens in the two games. Great job!

The River King wrestlers took to the mats last night and opened up their season against DeWitt and North Scott. The Kings looked impressive and scored some huge pins on the night. Winners for the Kings were Aron Cowger, Steve Barsema, Keegan Price, Chris Steward, Luke Hilgendorf, Easton Clark, Carson Richmond, Owen Lueders, Tanner Haskell, Oliver Mussman, Jaxen Darr, Jeremiah Green, Hanley Drury, and Bryson Schroeder. Tony Hansen and Tate Robinson also looked impressive in some very tough matches. The Kings defend their home turf next Monday in another tough matchup. Great job Kings, your coaches are proud!
