It is recommended by four-year liberal arts colleges (and required by some) that students entering college have at least 4 credits of World Languages. Actual requirements vary from college to college. Check with your college(s) of choice to determine what classes are required for admission.
14 Elective credits plus the 34 required credits from above give the students a total of 48 credits. Electives are any courses that are not required for graduation. They are exploratory classes in art, business, computer, family and consumer science, industrial technology, world languages, music or advanced study in any required course.
