Clinton elementary and middle schools’ busing boundaries are 2 miles and the high school boundaries are 3 miles, as per state guidelines.

Busing students are those students outside the walk zones, unless there is a safety issue.

Bus route start times are approximate as buses may be running early or late due to weather or traffic conditions. Please allow 10 minutes either way. If the bus is not there after 10 minutes call the Transportation office.  If your child will not be riding the school bus call the transportation department at 563-243-4441 ext. 1312 by 6:30 AM. You may leave a message on the answering machine if no one answers.

At the beginning of each school year you will be notified of your bus schedule via postcard, 2 weeks before school starts.  If you do not receive a post card call the Transportation office to get the correct information.

The Transportation fleet consists of 29 buses and 5 suburbans. Our buses hold anywhere from 22 to 84 passengers. The 1st bus leaves at 6:15 AM and our last bus returns around 4:45 PM. We transport at least 1400 children a day. We also provide transportation for daily field trips, Student Adventures After School program, and CCSD athletic events.
