The Young Americans will be arriving in Clinton on the evening of March 20. I am in need of 6-8 families that would be willing to open their home to 2-4 Young Americans during this workshop. Expectations would be to have a bed available, provide some meals during the stay, and be able to transport the students back and forth to Clinton High School. You will be given free tickets for the public performance on Saturday night, March 23.
If you are willing to open your home to some Young Americans, please contact me at gary.delacy@csdkq.org. Along with indicating interest, please indicate the following: number of Young Americans (from 2-4) that you are willing to host and whether you have cats or dogs (allergies).
This workshop is open to all interested students in the CCSD in grades 4-12. The cost of the three day workshop is $100. Financial assistance is available for those students where the cost is a barrier and would lower the cost to $50.
