LANGUAGE TRANSLATIONS AVAILABLE ON THE PARENT PORTAL:
Once the parent is on their portal page, they click the 3 dots at the top of the page (first photo).
Once that opens, they scroll down to "Translate" and click on it. They will see this (second photo), choose "Spanish" and if it isn't showing, they need to click the 3 dots on that screen at the top right and it will open for them to choose a language.
Once they choose "Spanish", for example, the site will switch to that language (third photo). It can be switched back by following the same instructions. As they navigate on various pages, it may revert back to English, but they just have to go through the process and tell it to translate again and it will pop up.

Did you know our CCSD website (clinton.k12.ia.us) can easily be translated to Spanish? You'll see "Translate" as a header tab on the right side on all pages! Click the drop down and choose "Spanish" if needed!
On our CCSD app, you'll go to Menu-->Settings-->Language Preference!
This is also an option on Infinite Campus Parent Portal (see separate CCSD post)!

Andy Green with United Way
The United Way supports reading in our schools by helping to provide financial resources for Reading Corps staff who work to help struggling readers improve their reading skills. Andy is very active in Rotary where they hand out dictionaries to area 3rd graders.
He has been the catalyst for the county-wide K-5 school supply program. This program works to lessen the burden of parents of elementary students by purchasing school supplies.
Andy reflects what the United Way is all about - working together to accomplish more as they support education, financial stability, and the health and wellness of our students and community.
